I have active research interests in the following areas:

Auction Theory--an outgrowth of my participation in a recent Reconnect workshop at Rutgers University.

Combinatorial Number Theory--the subject of my doctoral research.

Technology for Preservice Elementary Teachers--this stems from my interest in electronic calculators and my work with education students at Albion and elsewhere.

History of Electronic Calculators--An Albion College news release in 02002 described me as a "calculator collector and historian".  I'm not arguing with them, although it was a little unexpected to see it in print that way.
