My research, scholarship, and creative activity is predominately in the area of mathematical art. I write and speak about connections between mathematics and art. As an artist, I create art that explores mathematical themes such as symmetry, geometry, and number. I frequently give talks and exhibit my original art at both the Joint Mathematics Meetings and the Bridges Conference, the largest international conference on mathematical art.
