| Abstract: | In this talk we will see some examples of Machine Learning techniques applied to geological data in the pre-salt area of the Brazilian coast in order to identify possible areas for oil and gas exploration. In the second part of the talk we will look at some PolSAR (Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar images and we will see some problems on application of these images and talk on how computer vision can help in this area. |
