Oscillating microbubbles exhibit several interesting behaviors, including light emission, penetration of cell walls, and efficient transport of microscopic objects. To accurately model such bubbles, we employ a combination of mathematical techniques to solve the vorticity equation. The result is an easy-to-use “toolbox” for simulating complex flows relevant to lab-on-a-chip and bioengineeringapplications.
