Why isn't there much respect for women in the scientific community?

Was the Helical theory really on the right track or was everyone forced to accept it? 

Why do you think Rosie wasn't taken seriously when she voiced her concerns about DNA being Helical? Was it because she was a woman? Or was she really wrong?

Understanding what we know now about DNA, is there more to figure out or is science done? 

Why was Linus’ assault on DNA so taken personally by the discoveries? And was his take justified? 

Without x-rays, do you think that the discovers would have solidified their theory?
